Wills and Trusts: Living Wills

A living will (also known as a Health Care Directive) specifies among other directions, whether one would like to be kept on artificial life support if one becomes permanently unconscious or otherwise dying and unable to speak for yourself. This document or its location may be registered with the California Secretary of State for a fee. $100 to prepare a living will and an additional $25 to register it with the State of California
